The Revenue Cycle Application Analyst is responsible for the data integrity and maintenance of revenue cycle master files, pricing analysis, and is the system administrator for the revenue cycle application. The Analyst is technically accountable to ensure all data is validated and accurately
entered minimizing risk to the revenue cycle, improving client billing accuracy, increasing clean claim rates, and timely resolution of accounts receivable. Analyzes large revenue cycle data sets to determine trends, opportunities, and proposes action plans. Provides fee schedule analysis and contract modeling ensuring the fee schedules are uploaded and current.
The Application Analyst collaborates with the Revenue Cycle, IT, Sales, and Operations teams to review processes, metrics, and outcomes that improve client satisfaction, revenue cycle efficiencies, drives revenue, and reduces write-offs.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, information systems, finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years-experience acting as a system analyst within a healthcare revenue cycle team.
• 3+ years-experience analyzing, documenting, and driving workflow.
