The Executive Director is the senior operational leader for overseeing all aspects of the business. This role combines executive-level strategy with hands-on management of daily operations and clinical oversight. The right candidate will be a proven healthcare operations leader capable of optimizing performance, managing cross-functional teams, and supporting providers so they can deliver outstanding patient care.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical and Operational Leadership 

  • Oversee clinical leaders for service disciplines, ensuring outstanding clinical care and improving patient outcomes. Note: This does not presume clinical oversight of medication management, but does require clinical coordination with the medical director, and this role does have administrative oversight of medication management. 
  • Implement and oversee outcomes measurement tools to ensure superior quality of clinical service. 
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new providers.
  • Coordinate credentialing, orientation, onboarding, and integration into clinic workflows.
  • Maintain strong provider relations, addressing operational needs and supporting collaborative work environments.
  • Oversee daily operations across administration, HR, IT, billing, and clinical support teams.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with providers to ensure optimal patient flow, resource allocation, and service delivery to ensure an outstanding patient experience. 

Cultural Leadership and Community Engagement

  • Foster a patient-first and provider-centric culture of clinical excellence and operational efficiency. 
  • Spearhead the integration of administrative and clinical support teams. 
  • In coordination with the business development team and the Chairperson:
    • Drive authentic community engagement 
    • Develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, and advocacy groups to expand mental health awareness and access. 
    • Elevate the practice’s public image
    • Identify opportunities to advance Lyn Lake clinicians as thought leaders in mental health and well-being 

 

Performance Oversight & Auditing

  • Conduct performance audits for administrative and clinical teams.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Monitor KPIs for operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and compliance.

Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with billing staff to ensure accurate claims submission, denial management, and optimal revenue cycle performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-control strategies while ensuring quality of patient care.

Clinical Caseload

  • This role is expected to maintain a caseload of 5 to 10 patients per week.

QualificationsRequired

  • Licensed mental health clinician (MD/DO, psychologist, advanced practice provider, or licensed master’s level therapist)  
  • 5+ years of progressive healthcare management experience, including leadership of multi-provider, high-revenue practices.
  • Proven track record developing and implementing SOPs and performance monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership, provider relations, and financial oversight.
  • In-depth understanding of EHR systems, billing processes, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Minnesota payer policies and behavioral health regulations.
  • HR management experience, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Prior leadership of a large, multi-provider medical operation.

  • Compensation: $120,000 – 160,000 base salary plus bonus based on experience and qualifications in addition to 65% net collections for clinical work.
