Maintenance Operator Manager

Columbia, MO

We’re looking to hire a high-level Maintenance Operator Manager(Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required) for one of our mobile home communities in Missouri. The ideal candidate should bring a strong hands-on background in mobile home park maintenance, combined with leadership and organizational skills.

Core Skills Required:

• Plumbing: Water line diagnostics, leak repair, fixture installation, and shut-off valve control.
• Electrical: Troubleshooting mobile home pedestals, meter bases, lighting, outlet repair, and breaker replacement.
• Sewer Work: Main line maintenance, snaking, clean-outs, and knowledge of septic systems (if applicable).
• HVAC Basics: Understanding heating and cooling systems, thermostat troubleshooting (certification not required, but helpful).
• General Carpentry: Deck repair, steps, skirting, and underpinning installation.
• Mobile Home Setup/Repair: Leveling homes, tie-downs, anchoring, and underpinning.
• Roof Repair: Patching, sealing, and vent flashing.
• Painting & Pressure Washing: For upkeep and curb appeal.
• Road and Grounds Maintenance: Pothole filling, snow removal, lawn care, common area upkeep.
• Equipment Use: Ability to safely operate tools like augers, trenchers, jackhammers, and skid steers.
• Work Order Management: Timely completion, clear communication, and preventive maintenance tracking.
• Vendor Oversight: Coordinating subcontractors when needed and ensuring work is completed to standard.
