Sr. Finance Analyst-Chicago

Overview

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the businesses’ key financial drivers.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial outputs from Global teams and conduct variance and trend analysis.
• Partner with Global teams and stakeholders to define/enhance procedure and policy documents and refine US financial planning solutions.
• Production of timely financial materials for Management, inclusive of revenue/expense analysis, AUM trend and investor flows detail.
• Work with Finance Manager to regularly review expenses and provide insight regarding variances to budget by business area.
• Assist in the annual planning/budget process.
• Involvement in Finance projects as they arise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred. 
• 2-5 years’ experience working in asset management, accounting consulting, audit, or corporate finance advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
